Historical attraction

We can suggest a simple, relaxing, soothing and historically correct remedy for tired hikers, stressed scientists, rushed business travellers and discerning tourists: spend one or more nights at Hotel De Wereld.

In this historic stopping place you will unwind completely in the intimate but elegant setting of a hotel with genuine old-fashioned hospitality and excellent service. Surrounding the hotel and within walking and biking distance are many highlights of nature, culture and art for which the region is famous. In the spring of 2004, as if by magic, Hotel De Wereld was transformed into a picturesque 4-star boutique hotel situated on 5 Mei Plein (5 May Square) in the town centre of Wageningen.

Tasteful and contemporary

The second and third floors of the hotel accommodate 14 spacious guest rooms, including three suites with a separate lounge and bedroom, tastefully furnished in contemporary style and equipped with every convenience. Restaurant O Mundo is situated on the ground floor: a restaurant with a delicious reputation among connoisseurs, and of course possessing a genuine Michelin star. The ground floor also accommodates the hotel lobby, the conservatory overlooking the terrace under the chestnut trees and the historic Capitulatiezalen.
